Kioi Hall
Kioi Hall is a shoe-box style concert hall which was created by modern acoustic design technology at its highest sophistication based on the mature and refined acoustics of traditional European concert halls.
The size of the hall, with its 16-meter ceiling, is perfectly suited to fit 800-seats and created an atmosphere considerably more intimate than that of larger halls. The balcony seats provided on the first floor serve to integrate the stage and the audience.
An intimate exchange develops naturally between the audience and the performers and is enhanced by the soft and warm touch of wood which envelops all.
All these attributes are combined to create a space with a heart-mellowing atmosphere not attainable by acoustics alone.
The characteristic sounds of piano and other percussion instruments, wind and string instruments are clearly emitted to produce the sonorous reverberations of chamber orchestras, ensembles and solos.
